Why join us? Career progression

Grow with Clyde Munro

Our business is a natural home for the ambitious. We’re already the leading dental group in Scotland and we’re expanding all the time. So where better to progress than Scotland’s most progressive dental group?

Our teams are filled with people who have grown and developed with us over the years. The fact is that we offer the support and opportunity that many smaller practices can’t – extensive training, expert mentors, specialist programmes and more.

Career Development Pathways

One of the first things you’ll get when you start your role with us, besides a warm welcome, is a plan for your future. Our Career Development Pathway is a roadmap that details the next steps for your career – empowering you to take charge of your progression.

Mentoring Scheme

We invest a lot in formal training, but there’s no replacement for experience. With our Mentoring Scheme, you’ll be assigned an experienced member of the team who you can turn to for advice. It’s a safe pair of hands for your career development.

External Training

We have invested in a wide range of training and development programmes, so it’s completely free or heavily discounted for our team. At Clyde Munro we encourage everyone to learn the skills that push us all to the forefront of dentistry. That could be developing business acumen with the Chris Barrow programme and gaining new treatments with Invisalign, Suresmile, and Endo. While our nurses can specialise in implant nursing, sedation, radiography or child smile.

Training Academy

We have recently launched our state-of-the-art Advanced Dentistry & Clinical Skills Centre in Perth to help dental professionals hone their skills. At the facility, clinicians are able to observe seasoned professionals as they treat real patients in our teaching surgery, get a closer look at treatment procedures through our microscopes, and fine tune their own techniques on our phantom heads.

Training Platform

You’ll have online access to our internal platform, with general induction modules together with role-specific training resources. So, whatever you need to work on – from clinical skills to business know-how – you’ll have what you need to progress, develop and grow with Clyde Munro.
